• Debian 11 is approaching its end-of-life (vendor EOL date - August 31, 2026). Plesk Obsidian 18.0.80 will be the last release to support it.
If you are running Plesk Obsidian on Debian 11, we recommend you upgrade those servers to Debian 12 using our dist-upgrade tool.
  • We plan to deprecate and remove the support for XML RPC protocol versions earlier than 1.6.9.1 in Plesk Obsidian 18.0.82. We strongly recommend that you update all existing integrations using earlier versions of the XML RPC protocol to comply with the version 1.6.9.1 specification.

standard forwarding stopped working!

Hello,
I have a client whose standard forwarding has stopped working (sort of).

When I first set his domains up, we set up 2 domains for him.

domain1.com and domain2.com

Previously, if you typed in the url domain2.com/folder/ it would take you to domain1.com/folder/. Just recently, my client noted that if you type in domain2.com/folder/ you are redirected to domain1.com - no folder.

Any ideas on what changed this? We are using Plesk 7.0.3 and have not changed any settings.

Thanks for you help,
Andy

if you use dns cname, it will go from folder to folder.... since the domains point to the same space

if you use plesk domain forwarding/redirect it will only work for the root and would give 404 error for the rest.

You must have set this to work folder to folder from IIS previously and sometimes plesk resets things if you update teh domain.
