statistics_collector

Chris Macpherson

New Pleskian
Hi,

I am hoping someone can give me some more information on the statistics_collector process. I currently run Plesk on a fairly high traffic server. Everything is running smoothly except statistics_collector. The process is constantly reading from the disk, iotop shows IO at 99%. I only host 3 domains and none of them are using Awstat or Webalizer. Log rotation is on by size with compression off.

What exactly does statistics_collector do? Can it be turned off? Any suggestions on how to handle this?

Thanks for your time,
Chris
