• Debian 11 is approaching its end-of-life (vendor EOL date - August 31, 2026). Plesk Obsidian 18.0.80 will be the last release to support it.
If you are running Plesk Obsidian on Debian 11, we recommend you upgrade those servers to Debian 12 using our dist-upgrade tool.
  • We plan to deprecate and remove the support for XML RPC protocol versions earlier than 1.6.9.1 in Plesk Obsidian 18.0.82. We strongly recommend that you update all existing integrations using earlier versions of the XML RPC protocol to comply with the version 1.6.9.1 specification.

Stop Server Processes?

Liam_Carey

New Pleskian
I am new to Plesk, CentOS and Linux and have been looking at the memory usage on my Cloud VM. I notice that a number of process are taking up a lot of memory and I'm not sure why? or how to turn them off?

These are ftp usernames for updating my websites on the web server - however I have not accessed them in weeks. Why are they 'active' and why only these 2 when there are 8 different ftp user accounts I use (Transmit OSX)?

php-cgi ftp167890 count=2 CPU=0.0% Memory=71.4Mb

php-cgi ftp163981 count=2 CPU=0.9% Memory=58.4Mb

And this... what is it and should I turn it off to save on memory?

sw-engine-fpm User=psaadm Count=1 CPU=5.5% Memory=99.3Mb

Thanks for your help
