• The BIND DNS server has already been deprecated and removed from Plesk for Windows.
If a Plesk for Windows server is still using BIND, the upgrade to Plesk Obsidian 18.0.70 will be unavailable until the administrator switches the DNS server to Microsoft DNS. We strongly recommend transitioning to Microsoft DNS within the next 6 weeks, before the Plesk 18.0.70 release.
  • The Horde component is removed from Plesk Installer. We recommend switching to another webmail software supported in Plesk.

Strange DNS issue after moving domains

ReneSejling

New Pleskian
Hello

I have tested a Magento installation on a test domain renesejlingtest.dk with a couple subdomains acting as other shops for the same Magento installation.

This all worked well.

After moving the originaly webshop domains to my server, and after their DNS has changed (moved them this morning) when entering the URL in the browser, I get forwarded to my test domain. Eventhough the test domain is deleted from the server, it still shows the default Plesk page.

The moved domain is selectedforyou.dk
Also moved is selectedkjus.dk which responds to kjus.renesejlingtest.dk
and selectedmenu.dk which responds to menu.renesejlingtest.dk

I've tried tons of stuff without luck. Perhaps I'm just impatient with the DNS updates allround?

I'm using a Dns service in Denmark called GratisDNS to forward the domain traffic to my servers IP.

Any suggestions? :)
Thanks in advance.

Some DNS changes can take up to 72 hours to propogate, depending on your TTL entries.

Possibly teaching to suck eggs, but have you cleared browser cache and flushed Windows DNS Resolver cache?

Also, maybe worth rebuilding your vhost files to ensure your server is serving what it should be...
