• The new Python extension is now available. It allows customers to deploy and manage WSGI-based Python applications on their websites directly from Plesk.
  • Debian 11 has reached its end-of-life (vendor EOL date - August 31, 2026). Plesk Obsidian 18.0.81 is the last release to support it.
If you are running Plesk Obsidian on Debian 11, we recommend you upgrade those servers to Debian 12 using our dist-upgrade tool.
  • We plan to deprecate and remove the support for XML RPC protocol versions earlier than 1.6.9.1 in Plesk Obsidian 18.0.82. We strongly recommend that you update all existing integrations using earlier versions of the XML RPC protocol to comply with the version 1.6.9.1 specification.

Strange xinetd error --> logfile 130MB in 30 min

I'm using logwatch (not sure of the name) to scan the logfiles and mail it to me.. suddenly I got a mail that was 126MB... and when I looked at it.. /var/log/messages was filled with this:

service ftp, accept: Invalid argument (errno = 22)
service poppassd, accept: Invalid argument (errno = 22)
service auth, accept: Invalid argument (errno = 22)

Any ideas what causes this.. not a good sign when it fills my logfile with 126MB with that..... :p

The reason of this issue is that you had multiple instances of xinetd running at the same time.

I have detected this issue on some servers with FC3 and Plesk 7.5.4

I don't know if it's a Plesk or a Fedora issue.

If Im not wrong it was a problem caused by watchdog.. I'm rid of it now :)
