• Debian 11 is approaching its end-of-life (vendor EOL date - August 31, 2026). Plesk Obsidian 18.0.80 will be the last release to support it.
If you are running Plesk Obsidian on Debian 11, we recommend you upgrade those servers to Debian 12 using our dist-upgrade tool.
  • We plan to deprecate and remove the support for XML RPC protocol versions earlier than 1.6.9.1 in Plesk Obsidian 18.0.82. We strongly recommend that you update all existing integrations using earlier versions of the XML RPC protocol to comply with the version 1.6.9.1 specification.

Sub FTPs in Plesk

It appears that one cannot add sub ftp access to sub folders within a domain. This is a surprising omission. Am I missing something? Is there a plugin or application I might be able to use to enable vendors and certain users access to only a specified folder.

can't you define some web users to achieve what you want? Sorry, if that's too obvious and not helping you..

Not a bad idea, but not exactly what I want

Not a bad idea, pingu, but I'd really like to give limited access to my main httpdocs directory. I'm guessing I may have to edit the server configuration files to do that, so I may use this approach after all.
