subdomain questions

I have just set up a new domain site using the Plesk Panel 9.2 Linux.

I have also set up a number of subdomains but am having several problems:

1. I need to know the server path from a subdomain for example: newyork.mainsite.com to a directory on the mainsite.com

2. How do i set up the subdomains to show www.newyork.mainsite.com as well as newyork.mainsite.com? (I cannot find a www tickbox for the subdomains)

3. How do i redirect some of the subdomains to an other subdomain of the same site. (for exampe I want to point iowa.mainsite.com and illinois.mainsite.com at iowaillinois.mainsite.com)

this would work - just edit the index.html file on the re-direct site url ..
