• The BIND DNS server has already been deprecated and removed from Plesk for Windows.
If a Plesk for Windows server is still using BIND, the upgrade to Plesk Obsidian 18.0.70 will be unavailable until the administrator switches the DNS server to Microsoft DNS. We strongly recommend transitioning to Microsoft DNS within the next 6 weeks, before the Plesk 18.0.70 release.
  • The Horde component is removed from Plesk Installer. We recommend switching to another webmail software supported in Plesk.

subdomain requires www to work.

Hello,

I own the domain ultimatecomputers.net and it is registered with a registrar separate from the one I host the domain on. I use plesk to manage the hosting. I have the domain registered, and the DNS directed to the IP of my server with plesk on it. I am trying to make a subdomain of that domain that is also hosted on my server with plesk. I added the subdomain via plesk, and via my domain registrar, and directed the DNS to my IP. I can access the subdomain like this: www.subdomain.domain.com, but not like this: subdomain.domain.com. Is there a way to configure this subdomain so the www is not required? On my normal domain, I can access it with or without the www.

Thanks,
Jeremy
