Subdomains Error - Unable to update hosting preferences

Received the following error twice for two seperate domains when creating a subdomain.

Error: Unable to update hosting preferences: Such resource record is already in the zone name.domainname.com.

It didn't create the subdomain folder, but if you type in the url in the browser the default plesk page pulls up.

Any help would be appreciated on how to fix this problem.

Such resource record is already in the zone

Answer thanks to Godaddy:

Just delete the A record from your DNS zone and then recreate the subdomain.
