• The BIND DNS server has already been deprecated and removed from Plesk for Windows.
If a Plesk for Windows server is still using BIND, the upgrade to Plesk Obsidian 18.0.70 will be unavailable until the administrator switches the DNS server to Microsoft DNS. We strongly recommend transitioning to Microsoft DNS within the next 6 weeks, before the Plesk 18.0.70 release.
  • The Horde component is removed from Plesk Installer. We recommend switching to another webmail software supported in Plesk.

Issue Suddenly don't have permission to edit some files in Plesk

Robert Nixon

New Pleskian
I'm experiencing an issue where I'm able to create files in some directories on my plesk server but not others. It's something to do with file permissions. This is the error displayed in Plesk panel: System error 13: Permission denied

I've tried the instructions here: Plesk File Manager shows error: System error 13: Permission denied on WordPress
but they haven't solved the issue. Any ideas?

When I run plesk repair fs <mydomain> I get There are files or directories with suspicious permissions in the root directory of the domain. And there is 1 warning.

The server is running CentOS 7. The Plesk version is 17.8.11

I'm inexperienced with CentOS so let me know if there is any other info that could help diagnose the issue.

you can for example compare your folder structure and permission of the mentioned domain with the Virtual Host Structure Virtual Host Structure (Linux)

usualy there should be details about the issue in /var/log/plesk/panel.log
