Resolved Suddenly our website is down Webserver/Abstract.php error

Hello Everyone, please assist us with the following, it is urgent, my production site is down due this error I even rebuilt the whole server again
All pages in the wordpress site returns 404 except for homepage and I also got the following email from the server :

Template_Exception: AH00526: Syntax error on line 115 of /etc/httpd/conf/plesk.conf.d/vhosts/<hiddenforprivacy>.com.conf:

Regex could not be compiled

Please resolve the errors in web server configuration templates and generate the file again.

- did you compile Apache by yourself or is it the out-of-the-box version?
- did you set any additional Apache (http / https) settings in Plesk?

However we solved it temporarily by switching to nginx and adding the following as additional derivatives using this guide :

This seems related to: [BUG] mod_rewrite stopped working: .htaccess rewrite rules do not work for WordPress
Following directions solved the issue.

UPDATE : thanks to @Bart Schouten for notifying me about the wordpress toolkit update,
After the update, the problem is fixed.
