• Debian 11 has reached its end-of-life (vendor EOL date - August 31, 2026). Plesk Obsidian 18.0.81 is the last release to support it.
If you are running Plesk Obsidian on Debian 11, we recommend you upgrade those servers to Debian 12 using our dist-upgrade tool.
  • We plan to deprecate and remove the support for XML RPC protocol versions earlier than 1.6.9.1 in Plesk Obsidian 18.0.82. We strongly recommend that you update all existing integrations using earlier versions of the XML RPC protocol to comply with the version 1.6.9.1 specification.

Sun ASP 4.02 on Fedora Core III with Plesk and Apache

Hello,

I have a server with Fedora Core III and Plesk 7.5. We want to use Sun ASP 4.02. Unfortunatelly, Sun ASP does not run stable.

On random times, .asp files can not be accessed anymore. Instead the visitor receives a time-out or 'server not available' error message. Any other http-resources can be retrieved fine. Also, Sun ASP seems to run fine.

Do solve it, only Apache httpd needs to be restarted. However, after a while the problem occurs again.

The server is a dual Xeon with 1024MB memory.
I have installed Sun ASP on a machine with Fedora Core III before, and it ran fine there. I suspect it has something to do with the modification done by Plesk to Apache httpd.

Does anyone know of this problem? I hope someone has a sollution.

Gerbrand
