Switch between OS license

We are very disspointed that we cannot switch the OS for the Plesk license that we have bought.

Does anyone know that after paying for the Plesk license, you tell Sw-Soft which OS you want and after that you cannot change your mind!!!!!!!!!

They said it is impossible to switch the lisence to another OS (Windows to Linux). Woo.....

Anyone can explain why it this "impossible"?

We have been with Plesk since version 2. We cannot believe this can happen. Just don't understand! We are just a customer too small for them by now. Sigh.

Sincerely,
Edward Au

Dude,

That's what trial keys are for.

Anyway, do you buy a holden and then take it back 10 versions later and tell them you want a ford?

The product isn't that expensive for what it does. If you take hosting seriously you'll have multiple servers with multiple licenses and it won't be a problem.

If you are wanting another key then buy another key or talk to sales for a 1 month trial to get you over.

Problem Solvered.

I understand what you mean.

We are not a very large hosting company, just have about 10 licenses of 300 domains.

Thing is we also bought one 10x10 domain license last year and we are not sure which OS and the sales said we have to decide so we tak 5 linux and 5 windows. Now after 1 year we are not using the Windows license. We paid the SUS and wanted to switch back the windows to linux, no way.

The point is we bought "10x10 Domain Plesk license". Why is that we cannot change our mind to use another OS. How difficult is it for Sw-soft to do this? It IS about their policy here.

Sincerely,
Edward

All good.

why don't you provide both services to your customers?

Jarrod,

We provide both services but we do not use Plesk for Windows anymore. But the point here is we just don't understand and protest on this policy.

Edward
