Question Testing Site Before going live

I am moving sites to Plesk from another server and would like to have them running under new.sitename.com for the client to sign off before going live however I can not work out away to get the site to answer with that URL. The only way I could work out how to do it was to go into the Plesk Interface and press "preview". Is it possible to have the site running as new.sitename.com?

When you create a subdomain new.sitename.com you might also need to update your DNS settings, so that the subdomain "new" points to the IP address of that new host. Else the subdomain traffic will be routed to your old server.
