Issue The backup of the type server cannot be restored now.

New Pleskian
Hi All,

We've recently started using FTP storage for our backups but when I've tried to look at the server wide backup it stats the below.

The backup cannot be restored.

The backup of the type server cannot be restored now. To restore it, log in as the backup owner and click this backup name in Backup Manager.

I'm logged in as administrator.

Thanks,
Alex

Hi AlexWilliams,

Would this still apply if the backups where all created with Plesk Onyx?
As stated within the above mentioned article:
... can be restored in Plesk only if it was created in the same Plesk version
So the answer to your question would be: No, this shouldn't be the case, if you use backups from the very same Plesk version.

If you experience issues/errors/problems as described, using the very same Plesk version, you could consider to use the "debug" - level mode as described at:

... so that you are able to investigate it at bit better. :)
