Hello,

Our plesk 7.5.2 server is having problems receiving email. Other servers timeout apon trying to connect to our server.

When we telnet to port 25 of the plesk server, either remotely or from the console of the box it takes 60 - 120 seconds for anything to respond. SSH and webservices are working fine.

We have checked the "-Rt0" setting, it was not originally in our config, but adding this has not helped.

Also it seems to be able to send email out fine for our customers who use webmail.

Nothing in our configuration has changed.

Any help you all have would be greatly appreciated!

Do you know if you have any entries in /etc/hosts.allow or /etc/hosts.deny? Are you using RBL? Is one of your DNS servers down that is configured in /etc/resolv.conf?

I would suspect your problem may be DNS related.
