Timezone setup

Not sure I fully understand the Timezone setup. We are getting errors from a shopping cart when we go to checkout. It says "Error: Server time not synchronized to GMT"

As near as I can tell there is a couple places to set time. One is in the Plesk panel. I change the timezone to my local time zone GMT-6 and when I reboot its gone. I have to reset it again.

Is there HW time, time in the etc/sysconfig/clock file and time in Plesk.

Any help would be appreciateed. Have an unhappy customer with a cart :mad:
