• Debian 11 is approaching its end-of-life (vendor EOL date - August 31, 2026). Plesk Obsidian 18.0.80 will be the last release to support it.
If you are running Plesk Obsidian on Debian 11, we recommend you upgrade those servers to Debian 12 using our dist-upgrade tool.
  • We plan to deprecate and remove the support for XML RPC protocol versions earlier than 1.6.9.1 in Plesk Obsidian 18.0.82. We strongly recommend that you update all existing integrations using earlier versions of the XML RPC protocol to comply with the version 1.6.9.1 specification.

Tomcat admin access problem

Hello,

I am running Plesk 7.5.2 on Redhat Enterprise 3 with Tomcat 4.1 installed. One of my customers wanted to be able to use Tomcat and I activated that feature for him via Plesk.

Now when he/we tries to access http://www.customerdomain.com:8080/admin/index.jsp with the username and password set we get the following error message:

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
HTTP Status 403 - Access to the requested resource has been denied

type Status report

message Access to the requested resource has been denied

description Access to the specified resource (Access to the requested resource has been denied) has been forbidden.
Apache Tomcat/4.1
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Does someone have any idea on why this error occurs and what I have to do to solve it?

Thanks! :)
