Resolved Tried to update MySQL and now Plesk isn't working and Can't Reinstall!!

Hi, I tried to update to MySQL 5.5 from 5.1 and ended up unstalling it which uninstalled loads of Plesk components.

I am on CentOS 6.5 and have tried running the following commands:

./plesk-installer
/usr/local/psa/admin/sbin/autoinstaller

I get through the install process, but it fails with the following:

All sites are dead and I am completely panicking!!! Any ideas please??

If you have upgraded from 5.1 to 5.5 there is some incompatibilities in this 2 MySQL version. I suggest to check /var/lib/mysql/*.err file when you try to start MySQL and see there the error. Then I think is easy to fix. I hope you did not broke other things. Eventually can help you if you do not succeed, or at least I can try to check some logs for you.

I managed to fix the issue by following the steps on this page: https://kb.plesk.com/en/128528

The link for the rpm file wasn't found, but I managed to find it here:

wget http://mirror.centos.org/centos/6.8/os/x86_64/Packages/centos-release-6-8.el6.centos.12.3.x86_64.rpm

Just a note to anyone who has the same issue as me, you will lose all your Plesk settings so hopefully you have a backup like me!
