Turn off writing to access_log in Plesk

Is it possible to completely turn off hits to the access_log in Plesk v.7.5.4? I want to modify vhost.conf to use my own CustomLog and LogFormat.

I know the standard way of doing this, but Plesk seems to ignore certain directives in vhost.conf.
