• Debian 11 is approaching its end-of-life (vendor EOL date - August 31, 2026). Plesk Obsidian 18.0.80 will be the last release to support it.
If you are running Plesk Obsidian on Debian 11, we recommend you upgrade those servers to Debian 12 using our dist-upgrade tool.
  • We plan to deprecate and remove the support for XML RPC protocol versions earlier than 1.6.9.1 in Plesk Obsidian 18.0.82. We strongly recommend that you update all existing integrations using earlier versions of the XML RPC protocol to comply with the version 1.6.9.1 specification.

Two domains with the same document root

Hello,

i do have a php shop system with multi-client-support, where you can create and administrate multiple shops (with their own domain) from one backend.

The shop can be installed at one domain only. All other domains must point to the same document root directory.

Is it possible with Plesk 9.5 to create a new domain (no alias domain) with individual settings (i.e. email) and point it to an other plesk domain document root (without using redirection), or do I've to edit the apache vhost configuration manually?

Best regards,

You need to edit httpd.include manually and each time when something is updated, you will need to recreate (do backup)

It is one of features on Plesk 10.x version - webspaces.

Is it possible to put the DocumentRoot line into the vhost.conf?

As far as I know, no, is not possible because that is inside already of a virtual host and will not work.
