• Debian 11 is approaching its end-of-life (vendor EOL date - August 31, 2026). Plesk Obsidian 18.0.80 will be the last release to support it.
    If you are running Plesk Obsidian on Debian 11, we recommend you upgrade those servers to Debian 12 using our dist-upgrade tool.
  • We plan to deprecate and remove the support for XML RPC protocol versions earlier than 1.6.9.1 in Plesk Obsidian 18.0.82. We strongly recommend that you update all existing integrations using earlier versions of the XML RPC protocol to comply with the version 1.6.9.1 specification.

TXT SPF Record

Hello,

I have searched this forum for answers on SPF and although lot's of questions, it seems no real answers.

I switched server and previously the SPF record was:
v=spf1 a mx include:mailxxxhost.com.cn ?all

We still use the existing host for mail services, so under Domains > DNS Settings > I added:

domain.com. TXT v=spf1 a mx include:mailxxhost.com.cn ?all

1/ Is that largely ok?

2/ I have read mixed ideas about the ?all - should this be something more restrictive?

3/ One of our ISP providers insist on sending through the SMTP, smtp.i-cable.com
How would I add that to the SPF record?

Thanks,
Andy
