  • On Plesk for Linux mod_status is disabled on upgrades to improve Apache security.
    This is a one-time operation that occurs during an upgrade. You can manually enable mod_status later if needed.

ulimit to limit background processes.

My hosting service lets users run a few background processes. I was thinking of enforcing it with /etc/security/limits.conf but the users aren't put in a group by default which makes it tricky to do. I dont want to limit the whole system and make apache and such fail... is there some kind of plugin for this or anything?
