Hi everyone,
We have a strato-server running with plesk 7.5.4 and we are completely stuck. We currently have hosted 10 domains and aren't able to access these at all. Instead we receive the following error message:
<b>Unable to get system shells: Empty error message from utility.</b>
I've found some help in SWsoft knowledge base on this page:

The page describes a solution based on the alteration of a configuration file found in $PRODUCT_ROOT_D/admin/conf/php.ini(switching the safe mode of). Unfortunately we cannot reach that file (or those files) because we have no ftp access to our domains and no acces to any filemanager whatsoever. The result is a frustrating status quo and no real back up from Strato.
Therefore I reach to the people on this forum to lend us the help we obviously need.
