• Debian 11 is approaching its end-of-life (vendor EOL date - August 31, 2026). Plesk Obsidian 18.0.80 will be the last release to support it.
If you are running Plesk Obsidian on Debian 11, we recommend you upgrade those servers to Debian 12 using our dist-upgrade tool.
  • We plan to deprecate and remove the support for XML RPC protocol versions earlier than 1.6.9.1 in Plesk Obsidian 18.0.82. We strongly recommend that you update all existing integrations using earlier versions of the XML RPC protocol to comply with the version 1.6.9.1 specification.

Unable to update Plesk Key

Previously I had been running Plesk on a server and a few months ago, I got a new server, and installed it on there. The original key I got was back when Plesk was version 7.5 I am now running 8.2

The problem I am having is when I login, I see the following message:

Warning: You are currently operating within the grace period of your product license. To update your product license, select the Retrieve Keys option on the License Management page.

When I try to retrieve the keys as per the message's instruction, I get the following message:

Unable to update Plesk Key. The key you try to send is invalid. You cannot try to update it anymore. License key must be ordered first.

Does anyone have any idea how to fix this? My "grace period" ends Nov 5, so I obviously need to get this sorted out pretty quick. The key update date is listed as 26 Oct. Thanks.
