• Please be aware: Kaspersky Anti-Virus has been deprecated
With the upgrade to Plesk Obsidian 18.0.64, "Kaspersky Anti-Virus for Servers" will be automatically removed from the servers it is installed on. We recommend that you migrate to Sophos Anti-Virus for Servers.
  • The Horde webmail has been deprecated. Its complete removal is scheduled for April 2025. For details and recommended actions, see the Feature and Deprecation Plan.
  • We’re working on enhancing the Monitoring feature in Plesk, and we could really use your expertise! If you’re open to sharing your experiences with server and website monitoring or providing feedback, we’d love to have a one-hour online meeting with you.

Looks like we are on a very old and out of date Plesk that is having issues. What is the best way to get out of this?

Hi, Ubuntu 16 is already out of support since quite long (2021).
Here, probably the best would be to migrate to an up-to-date OS and see if that still works even with the issues you're experiencing.

Should you have issues during the migration, I would suggest reaching out to our support team.
(Use the license from the new system to open the request, as old OSes will not be accepted)

Here I in the best case is just some corrupted file, or the server got hacked due to being so out of date with no security patches from OS, etc.
