  • The Horde component is removed from Plesk Installer. We recommend switching to another webmail software supported in Plesk.
  • The BIND DNS server has already been deprecated and removed from Plesk for Windows.
If a Plesk for Windows server is still using BIND, the upgrade to Plesk Obsidian 18.0.70 will be unavailable until the administrator switches the DNS server to Microsoft DNS. We strongly recommend transitioning to Microsoft DNS within the next 6 weeks, before the Plesk 18.0.70 release.

Hi all,

quick question, is it safe to run up2date on a plesk 7.5.3 install?

If so what packages should be omitted?

or where can I find this info.

Thanks

It should be fine to run up2date/yum against all packages included in Plesk. The only things you should be concerned with, are any 3rd party scripts/packages you may have installed, as well as custom kernels.

Thank you very much; no there has not been any custom updates done to this server. It is still new enough to be considered virgin.
