Question Update Information to Plesk 18.0.79

Hello,

We have several servers here where the update to 18.0.79 is being displayed. We’ve actually enabled automatic updates, and up until now Plesk has always installed or updated itself automatically. Why isn’t this the case with version 18.0.79? Is this a slightly riskier update? Or why should we install it manually? Are there likely to be any problems?

Hello,

Plesk does not roll out new major versions to all servers immediately, even when automatic updates are enabled.

Instead, updates are distributed gradually in batches. This staged rollout helps ensure stability and allows Plesk to detect potential issues early before the update is made available to all servers.

As a result, even with auto-updates enabled, a new major version may not appear on a server right away. Full rollout typically completes within 4 weeks.
