Hi,

on a new rhel4 server , can up2date and yum(art) co-exist happily together.

running yum update and up2date -u daily, will clickig update also in the adminCP be required ?

does this mean there are 3 ways for update/ one via up2date/rhel, one via yum/art and one via admin control panel/plesk

What I would do is to stop using the Plesk GUI updater. Reconfigure yum to check both the rhel repository as well as ARTs (or just use ARTs for it all), then you only have to do a single update with a single update program. This is just what I would do to keep things from being overly complicated...
