• The APS Catalog has been deprecated and removed from all Plesk Obsidian versions.
Applications already installed from the APS Catalog will continue working. However, Plesk will no longer provide support for APS applications.
  • Please be aware: with the Plesk Obsidian 18.0.78 release, the support for the ngx_pagespeed.so module will be deprecated and removed from the sw-nginx package.

Question Update Plesk 12.5.30

Marc_L

New Pleskian
I want to update from Plesk 12.5.30 update #9 to the latest version which is update #74 at the moment. Since the last update was performed more than 2 years ago I can imagine there is some risk. Can I perform this update without problems?

Eventually I want to upgrade to Plesk Onyx, but it seems wise to me first to update to the latest version of Plesk 12.5.30. What do you recommend?

Kind regards,
Marc

I would suggest you run direct upgrade to latest Plesk Onyx 17.5 version.

Hi Marc_L,

My experience says that best practice is to make a full backup before any changes like update/upgrade, that's not only about Plesk :)
