• Debian 11 is approaching its end-of-life (vendor EOL date - August 31, 2026). Plesk Obsidian 18.0.80 will be the last release to support it.
If you are running Plesk Obsidian on Debian 11, we recommend you upgrade those servers to Debian 12 using our dist-upgrade tool.
  • We plan to deprecate and remove the support for XML RPC protocol versions earlier than 1.6.9.1 in Plesk Obsidian 18.0.82. We strongly recommend that you update all existing integrations using earlier versions of the XML RPC protocol to comply with the version 1.6.9.1 specification.

Question Updating MariaDB to the latest version

johnl

New Pleskian
Hello Team,

I currently have MariaDB version 5.5.65 installed.

Can you please tell me how to update it to the latest version?

Thank you!

Thank you @IgorG for your response. I noticed on the page you sent it says: Warning: MariaDB 10.4 and 10.5 are not currently supported by Plesk.
Does it mean it's not supported?
Is it easy and safe to do so or websites will start crashing after this?
is there a way to revert in case something goes wrong?
Thanks :)

Awesome - Thank you.

Nothing in the world is perfect and anything can happen. If you have good experience with Linux, you can easily deal with any possible problems.
