Updating PHP and Installing Zend Optimizer

Hi Everyone,

So I know it comes with PHP 5.2.5 but I want to update it to 5.2.6 and install ZEND Optimizer, when I do it if I tell PHP installer to install to PLESK/ADDITIONAL/PHP5 it causes errors across the entire system. FastCGI errors on Plesk itself... where is the proper location to install PHP and Zend so that all my users have the ability to use it or show it enabled... Is there a proper location or way that I should install add ons so that they are available to everyone...

Also, Specifications are Plesk 8.4 and Windows 2003 Server
