• Debian 11 is approaching its end-of-life (vendor EOL date - August 31, 2026). Plesk Obsidian 18.0.80 will be the last release to support it.
If you are running Plesk Obsidian on Debian 11, we recommend you upgrade those servers to Debian 12 using our dist-upgrade tool.
  • We plan to deprecate and remove the support for XML RPC protocol versions earlier than 1.6.9.1 in Plesk Obsidian 18.0.82. We strongly recommend that you update all existing integrations using earlier versions of the XML RPC protocol to comply with the version 1.6.9.1 specification.

upgrade after reimaging

I have a fedore core 2 running with plesk 7.5.

I want to go to FC4 with Plesk8 which is offered by my root server provider as an option through re-imaging the server.

What would be the steps I have to do on the old installation that I can restore all my domains, emails and other settings after the re-imaging?

I have a backup server in my data center to which I can write huge amounts of data fast, but I will not have a life (old) server for a plesk migration, so apparently everything has to go into files first and then restored from those files on the re-imaged machine.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks
Gunter
