• The BIND DNS server has already been deprecated and removed from Plesk for Windows.
If a Plesk for Windows server is still using BIND, the upgrade to Plesk Obsidian 18.0.70 will be unavailable until the administrator switches the DNS server to Microsoft DNS. We strongly recommend transitioning to Microsoft DNS within the next 6 weeks, before the Plesk 18.0.70 release.
  • The Horde component is removed from Plesk Installer. We recommend switching to another webmail software supported in Plesk.

Upgrade and migration advice needed

We are currently running Plesk 9.5 on an old version of Fedora. We would like to move onto a new server, change to Ubuntu, and upgrade to Plesk V10.

Can anyone provide a suggested path for accomplishing this?

Does it make sense to upgrade to R10 and then migrate the domains to a new server?

Getting a hold of Parallels support is next to impossible for "best practices" questions so I'm posting here.

Thanks

dont update. i ll suggest wait till plesk 10.1 is released in the next days because migration manager in 10.0.1 has some bugs. if 10.1 is ready install it on the new server and migrate all your domains from the old server with migration manager. after this test your new server and if it is running well and no things missing kill the old one;)
