Hi Guys, at present, my plesk server is running ASP.NET v1.1.14

I would like to install the .NET 2.0 framework. Has anyone done this? What is the safest way to go about it?

You can download and install the .net ver 2.0 framework without any problems. After installation, you can even set the version of .net for every website that you set up.

Hi,
I know this is an old thread..
I installed (finally) .net2.0 framework. In the server settings I see the 1.1 and the 2.0 tab.

But when going to the settings of a website, I can not choose which version I want to use. What is the problem?

I use 7.6.1.

I hope somebody can help me with this one!

EDIT:
And as always, the problem is 'solved' already. Stupid enough I did not logout-login in plesk... Sorry!

and 3.5 framework

i install the 3.5 framework on server but inside plesk still 1.1 version.

why?

thanks

Please refresh the list of installed components in Plesk > Server > Components Management > Refresh. Note that ASP.NET 2 is the latest that can be recognized by Plesk so you should see ASP.NET 2.0 after this "Refresh" operation. In fact ASP.NET 3.5 uses the same engine and features set as 2.0 so it is very close to ASP.NET 2.0 registration and that is why Plesk recognize it as 2.x version as well.
