• Debian 11 is approaching its end-of-life (vendor EOL date - August 31, 2026). Plesk Obsidian 18.0.80 will be the last release to support it.
If you are running Plesk Obsidian on Debian 11, we recommend you upgrade those servers to Debian 12 using our dist-upgrade tool.
  • We plan to deprecate and remove the support for XML RPC protocol versions earlier than 1.6.9.1 in Plesk Obsidian 18.0.82. We strongly recommend that you update all existing integrations using earlier versions of the XML RPC protocol to comply with the version 1.6.9.1 specification.

Hi Everyone,

New to plesk, new to servers. Have been using Linux as my os of choice for close to a year now so there are some things I understand.

Currently using Plesk 8.0.0 on a Red Hat Fedora Core 4 server

In my Plesk control panel under:
Server
Updater

there are 2 updates, one to Plesk 8.0.1 and one to 8.1.0

I'm not sure why our server provider didn't install the latest version. I have a problem with qmail being broken right out of the box and hope the update(s) will fix it.

Is anything going to break when I update? And should I apply the updates in order, or just go straight to the 8.1.0 one and skip the 8.0.1.

Thank you,

dennis

I would update t0 8.0.1 first, then to 8.1.. It's possible that the update will fix qmail..
