  • The BIND DNS server has already been deprecated and removed from Plesk for Windows.
If a Plesk for Windows server is still using BIND, the upgrade to Plesk Obsidian 18.0.70 will be unavailable until the administrator switches the DNS server to Microsoft DNS. We strongly recommend transitioning to Microsoft DNS within the next 6 weeks, before the Plesk 18.0.70 release.
  • The Horde component is removed from Plesk Installer. We recommend switching to another webmail software supported in Plesk.

Hi All,

I have a new server which is using a temporary key at the moment. The temp key is now expired and I need to move a key from another server to this one. The old server is plesk 8.1 and I'm upgrading to plesk 9.2.1. How would I go about upgrading and moving the key to the new server?

Thanks.

Hello,

Upgrade the old server to 9.2.1 and then move the /etc/psa/psa.key from old to new server, then restart psa (/etc/init.d/psa restart) this should do the trick.

Make sure that license keys for Plesk 8.x. and 9.x are not compatible.
But id the old key was for Plesk 8.x and you have SUS on the license, you will be able to upgrade it free of charge.
