Upgrade PHP to 5.3 does not work

Sarphati

New Pleskian
Hello,
I upgraded my Plesk to 10.4.4 and add PHP 5.3 both using the 'Update and Upgrade.'

I followed the instructions on how to do so in this thread: http://kb.parallels.com/en/113179

I then went to Tools and Settings -- Server Components and clicked Refresh.

I am still not getting the option for PHP 5.3 under Service Plans - My Domain - Hosting Parameters. I only have the option for PHP 4 and PHP 5.2.17.

How do I get the option for PHP 5.3?

I also tried to rename the C:\Program Files (x86)\Parallels\Plesk\Additional\PleskPHP53 directory into PleskPHP5. This just cause the websites to fail.

Now... Tools and Settings -- Updates and Upgrades is asking for a username and password. None of my usernames work for this.

Any ideas?

The kb article has mistakes in it.

service_plan.exe --create newplan -php true -php_version 5.3 returns the error: wrong syntax for command's '-php_version' parameter.

What is the correct syntax?

5.3 is not an option

Hello Igor,
Service_plan.exe does not allow me to choose 5.3. The only options for version are 4 and 5.

How do I make PHP 5.3 an option?
service_plan.exe or domain.exe do not work.
Using the Plesk interface does not work.
Replacing the directory C:\Program Files (x86)\Parallels\Plesk\Additional\PleskPHP5 with the contents of C:\Program Files (x86)\Parallels\Plesk\Additional\PleskPHP53 does not work.

What can I do?

Please help!
