  • The BIND DNS server has already been deprecated and removed from Plesk for Windows.
If a Plesk for Windows server is still using BIND, the upgrade to Plesk Obsidian 18.0.70 will be unavailable until the administrator switches the DNS server to Microsoft DNS. We strongly recommend transitioning to Microsoft DNS within the next 6 weeks, before the Plesk 18.0.70 release.
  • The Horde component is removed from Plesk Installer. We recommend switching to another webmail software supported in Plesk.

Upgrade Plesk from 8.2 to 10 (on debian)

I'm running Plesk 8.2 on a Debian 4.0. I would like to upgrade to Plesk 10, but it seems to be quite a problem.

First, I didn’t’ find any 8.3 - 8.5 plesk packages on the update server (http://autoinstall.plesk.com/).
And I read, that I need to upgrade my debian first.

Is there a way to migrate a Plesk 8.2 environment to a new Plesk 10 (on a debian 5)?

I tried your pre9-backupconverter first on a fullbackup, but it didn’t work. Converter quits with an ascii error.

Any help or simple work-a-round would be very appreciated.

Best regards,
Pascal
