Resolved Upgrade Spamassasin to 3.4.1

Hello,

I have followed the directions at SpamAssassin update from 3.3.1 to 3.4.1

Running: CentOS 6
Plesk: 17.0.17

When I try to install Spamassasin, I get:

# rpm -Uvh ./spamassassin-3.4.1-7.el6.x86_64.rpm
error: Failed dependencies:
perl(Geo::IP) is needed by spamassassin-3.4.1-7.el6.x86_64

However, I have Geo::IP 1.5 installed.

cpan[1]> install Geo::IP
CPAN: Storable loaded ok (v2.20)
Reading '/root/.cpan/Metadata'
Database was generated on Wed, 29 Mar 2017 21:41:02 GMT
CPAN: Module::CoreList loaded ok (v5.20170320)
Geo::IP is up to date (1.50).

Any suggestions appreciated.

Try this

# wget http://ftp.tu-chemnitz.de/pub/linux...rge/RPMS/perl-Geo-IP-1.38-1.el6.rf.x86_64.rpm
# rpm -ivh perl-Geo-IP-1.38-1.el6.rf.x86_64.rpm

Why not? You need just find appropriate src.rpm
