Resolved Upgrade to 17.5.3 failed from 17.0.17

Hello together,

Ubuntu 16.04.2 LTS‬
Version 17.0.17 Update #24

File attached on this thread.

What i tried:

1. plesk repair all
2. plesk repair db
3. Resolved - Plesk 17.0 -> 17.5 upgrade fails on database prep without success

I don't have any clue now to resolve this issue.

Hi Wikibear,

pls. consider to use the command ( logged in as user "root" over SSH ):

mysql_upgrade -u admin -p`cat /etc/psa/.psa.shadow` --force

... and retry your upgrade process, pls.

Hi Wikibear,

pls. make sure, that you have this setting in your "my.cnf":

[mysqld]
sql_mode=""

Pls. repeat the MySQL - upgrade command after you mad sure, that the essential setting is done.


Afterwards, pls. repeat again the Plesk - Upgrade process and pls. consider to post the NEW install - log for further investigations.
