• Debian 11 is approaching its end-of-life (vendor EOL date - August 31, 2026). Plesk Obsidian 18.0.80 will be the last release to support it.
If you are running Plesk Obsidian on Debian 11, we recommend you upgrade those servers to Debian 12 using our dist-upgrade tool.
  • We plan to deprecate and remove the support for XML RPC protocol versions earlier than 1.6.9.1 in Plesk Obsidian 18.0.82. We strongly recommend that you update all existing integrations using earlier versions of the XML RPC protocol to comply with the version 1.6.9.1 specification.

hello

at the moment i have a plesk 7.5.4 with latest patches on a suse 9.1

i want to upgrade to plesk 8, but suse 9.1 is not supported.

whats the best solution to make a upgrade to plesk 8?

my ideas are

a) upgrading suse 9.1 to 9.3 ( i hope it runs all fine..), then plesk 8 upgrade

b) make a plesk backup, reinstall the system with suse 9.3, install plesk 8 and restore with the backup file

c) install a second server with plesk 8 and move the domains from plesk 7.5.4 to plesk 8

i wont have a long downtime...

thanks for any tip!
greets
