help - problems from 7.1.5 to 7.5.2

Hi all,

Couple questions.

1. I want to have a more current Coldfusion version running. Right now I'm using 6,1,0,63958
which is a couple versions old.

If I upgrade Plesk from my current 7.1.5 to 7.5.2 will this do anything with the Coldfusion? Or do i need to run the macromedia updater for coldfusion on my own?

2. My current Plesk is version 7.1.5
If I look at the updater function in the panel, I see there is version 7.1.7 and 7.5.2

Am I supposed to upgrade one at a a time? (from 7.1.5 to 7.1.7 to 7.5.2)

Or can I just update straight to 7.5.2?

AND.... is it stable, or any better than my current 7.1.5?

Thanks much
Dom

So we went ahead and upgraded from plesk 7.1.5 to 7.5.2

using the built in updater system, which seemed to work pretty well.

But then all hell broke loose.

We decided to update the coldfusion which was running on the server at version:
6,1,0,63958

to whatever the current version 6.1 x is, by using the updater system offered by macromedia.

oops. mistake.

now when we tried to restart apache we got:
Syntax error on line 27 of /etc/httpd/conf/httpd.include:
Cannot load /opt/coldfusionmx/runtime/lib/wsconfig/psa/mod_jrun20.so into server: /opt/coldfusionmx/runtime/lib/wsconfig/psa/mod_jrun20.so: cannot open shared object file: No such file or directory

so now we have a server with no running apache or coldfusion.
yay

Has anyone dealt with this problem before?
help very much appreciated.

karma coming your way...
