• The BIND DNS server has already been deprecated and removed from Plesk for Windows.
If a Plesk for Windows server is still using BIND, the upgrade to Plesk Obsidian 18.0.70 will be unavailable until the administrator switches the DNS server to Microsoft DNS. We strongly recommend transitioning to Microsoft DNS within the next 6 weeks, before the Plesk 18.0.70 release.
  • The Horde component is removed from Plesk Installer. We recommend switching to another webmail software supported in Plesk.

Hi,

We bought vps from godaddy.we created new domain.how can we upgrade it asp.net framework 4.0 we tried ugrading default plesk application pool to .net 4.0 its working now but now we cant view aspx files. If we go to handlers for the domain we created on iss manager and if we click aspx mimetype and upgrade to parent aspx file working..we have serious problems.anybody can help please?

The default plesk application pool should have not been upgraded to .NET 4. I would switch this back to .NET 2 and then go into Plesk -> Tools & Settings -> Server Components and click the Refresh button on the page. (NOT the one in your browser) . This will update the components that Plesk uses.

This should then list .NET 2 and .NET 4 as your . Then go to the Plesk page for your domain and go to ASP.NET Settings and change the version for the site to .NET 4

This will create another application pool named "Plesk(default)(4.0)(pool)" unless you have the domain configured to use its own application pool.
