• Halloween is coming! To celebrate the occasion, we dusted off a couple of old skins, and even created a brand new one (Pixel).
To get into the festive spirit, install the Skins extension.
  • The new Python extension is now available. It allows customers to deploy and manage WSGI-based Python applications on their websites directly from Plesk.
  • The Plesk Mobile apps for iOS and Android and the Plesk Mobile Center extension have been deprecated, and are no longer available for new installations. In Plesk Obsidian 18.0.84, the Plesk Mobile Center extension will be removed from servers during the upgrade, and the Plesk Mobile apps will lose their server management features.
  • The Social Login extension has been deprecated and will be removed in Plesk Obsidian 18.0.84. After that, it will no longer be possible to log in to Plesk with a Google, Facebook, GitHub account, or with a passkey. Plesk usernames and passwords, as well as logging in with a WebPros Account, are not affected.

Hello,

Recently we discovered a problem: user uploaded a really large (3Gb) file to the server. It can be downloaded through FTP correctly but not through HTTP! When downloading through HTTP (any web browser) you just get 0 bytes file and Download finished message.

Where should we start fixing this?

Thanks.

If I had to guess I would say it is the file size limit that is set with apache. I know I have have httpd-2.0.52-28 and I can't download files larger than 2gig from it via httpd. I have not yet upgraded to 2.2, because I wasn't sure if Plesk would have issues with it.

Overview of new features in Apache 2.2:
httpd is now built with support for files larger than 2GB on modern 32-bit Unix systems. Support for handling >2GB request bodies has also been added.
