• Debian 11 is approaching its end-of-life (vendor EOL date - August 31, 2026). Plesk Obsidian 18.0.80 will be the last release to support it.
If you are running Plesk Obsidian on Debian 11, we recommend you upgrade those servers to Debian 12 using our dist-upgrade tool.
  • We plan to deprecate and remove the support for XML RPC protocol versions earlier than 1.6.9.1 in Plesk Obsidian 18.0.82. We strongly recommend that you update all existing integrations using earlier versions of the XML RPC protocol to comply with the version 1.6.9.1 specification.

Question user sees all DB's in MSSQL (Plesk 12.5)

Schrikbeest

New Pleskian
One of our clients complaints that he sees all the databases in MSSQL on our shared hosting server. The server runs 2012 with MSSQL 2012. He cant mutate the databases other than his own but we would like to achieve that our clients only see their own db's.

I checked but there is no guest account (http://forum.parallels.com/showthread.php?106115).

We tried running this script "DENY VIEW ANY DATABASE TO public" but the result is that the db owner cant see his own database anymore.

Is there a solution for this issue?

Dont think there is. I read somewhere its how MSSQL is by design. We even tried signing up with other hosting providers just to see if this is the case like Godaddy and then some local hosts in south africa and found it the be the case with all them. You can view all but cant edit them. I wish there was a solution but every solution tried causes other issues.
