using exim and devecot

Howdy,

Would there be any issues with using exim and dovecot as replacements for the mta and pop3/imap software that plesk uses. As I understand it, all the settings are stored in mysql DB.

Yeah all the data is there in mysql, you'd just have to write some code to bridge the two together.
