/var/named directory permissions?

I noticed that the directory permissions for the dir /var/named on Plesk 8.1.0 (FC4) are 750 by default.

This creates dead links for regular users for 2 files in the /etc dir. /etc/named.conf is one of them.

I don't think this a problem but I am just curious why that one directory is 750 while all the others in /var/ are 755?
