• Debian 11 is approaching its end-of-life (vendor EOL date - August 31, 2026). Plesk Obsidian 18.0.80 will be the last release to support it.
If you are running Plesk Obsidian on Debian 11, we recommend you upgrade those servers to Debian 12 using our dist-upgrade tool.
  • We plan to deprecate and remove the support for XML RPC protocol versions earlier than 1.6.9.1 in Plesk Obsidian 18.0.82. We strongly recommend that you update all existing integrations using earlier versions of the XML RPC protocol to comply with the version 1.6.9.1 specification.

Issue /var/qmail - contains emails but no attachments.

New Pleskian
I want to backup my emails from my server, so when I searched where plesk stores the image, I can see email folders, but @attachments folder is empty for all email.

There is no way the folder should be empty unless something is wrong. Most of my emails contain attachments.

Where are email attachments in plesk stored?

Attachments are embedded in the messages themselves, they are not stored separately. Have a look within the folders below '/var/qmail/mailnames/example.com/mailuser/Maildir' (where example.com is an actual domain and mailuser is an actual mailbox).

Hello Ales.

Thank you so much. Does this mean, I only need to backup /var/qmail/ to back up the emails?
