New Pleskian
Hi All
When i user my Plesk URL as the incomming & Outgoing mail server, everything works fine but when i use mail.domain.co.uk [domain being my domain name] it receive an Internet Security Warning - The server you are connected to is using a security certificate that cannon be verified... The target principal name is incorrect.
when i also look at the mail boxes within plesk, i click on the 'i' and then select Microsoft Outlook, Gmail or Thunderbird i see the below Note in blue
Note: You may see the "Untrusted certificate" error when you access your mailbox. It happens if the SSL/TLS certificate of the mail server or domain is self-signed or assigned to another domain. If so, make sure that the domain name of the mail server is valid.
Is it standard practice to just use plesks url as the incomming & outgoing mail server or is it possible to have resolve the Untrusted Certificate when using mail.domain.co.uk ??
I look forward to hearing from you
Kind Regards
